THE DEFENESTRATIONS OF PRAGUE (prague)

So basically what I’m learning in my art history class is that Czechs apparently had a nasty habit of attempting to solve political disputes by throwing their rivals out out of windows.

This happened more than once.

I’M PRETTY SURE I’M IN A DISNEY MOVIE (bamberg)

My second trip to Germany to a smallish town called Bamberg which is the most colorful place I’ve ever seen.

This place is way to beautiful to be real.

Also I got a really cool wooden sword. My friend told me to get a practical souvenir that won’t be such a pain to transport but now I have a wooden sword, so, there.

BAMBERG CASTLE (bamberg)

Because you can’t visit a city in Europe without checking out the castle. Bamberg Castle wasn’t as enormous as Prague’s or Bratislava’s, but it definitely had a unique feel to it and the view was fantastic.

THE STARS LOOK VERY DIFFERENT TODAY (prague)

There was some guy doing a really great cover of Space Oddity by David Bowie in the old downtown area of Prague.

I was walking to my school building when I heard it and I got completely lost trying to find him and thought I might have been imagining it or something but I found him in a tiny street and we chatted and it was amazing.

OLD SQUARE (bratislava)

There was an adorable cafe that served ridiculously chocolate-y hot chocolate and it was still Valentines Day themed so there were hearts everywhere and it was lovely and rainy and an actually really nice day to be there.

Europe architecture is so colorful!

CASTLES CASTLES CASTLES (bratislava)

The sun came out just in time for us to see Bratislavský hrad and relax in the grass with a perfect view of the city.

LOOK CLOSELY (bratislava)

…because there’s an accordion player in that archway to the right.

Thus continues my mission to stalk take a picture of every accordion player I see in Europe.

That blond guy in the blue sweatshirt knows what’s up. His orange jacketed companion is unaffected.

STREETS AROUND THE CITY (bratislava)

It was pretty rainy when we got to Bratislava, but I’d argue that it made it made the city even more beautiful.

RAINY NIGHT (bratislava)

Wandering around Bratislava and it feels like I’m in a book.

Bratislava had some super cool bars and restaurants. We were only there for one night, but my friend and I did get the chance to go salsa dancing with these Croatians that we met in an underground bar so we can definitely say that we were able to make the most of it.
